Heart, Lungs & the Dynamics of Breath
with Sara Worden
April 3rd 2 – 4PM
Your heart and lungs are in love with each other! Come explore the spiritual and physical anatomy of breath by deeply experiencing your own respiratory organs in relationship to your heart. This increased awareness brings freedom to the breath and a sense of embodiment to our mediation and asana practice. Participants will learn several forms of heart meditation and pranayama and their appropriate applications for daily life. Workshop includes breath-work, movement, and restorative yoga.

Sara’s mother introduced her to yoga when she was in high school and it has been an important part of her life ever since. As a guiding spiritual practice it has helped her tap into her heart’s desire and stay limber while doing physical work in agriculture. Sara’s practice is alignment based and influenced by the natural world around her and within.
Sara enjoys working with students of all abilities who want to go deeper into the natural world through experiencing their own body, mind, and breath in relationship to the environment around them.
Sara has her RYT 200 in Ashtanga-Vinyasa Yoga and has completed the Anusara Yoga Immersions at Lakshmi Living Arts. She also studies Shambhala Mindfulness, and Body-Mind Centering and incorporates these elements into her own practice, yoga classes, and Farmscape Yoga workshops.
