Yoga In the Dark

Winter is a sweet and special time to practice yoga but as the days grow shorter and there is more darkness than light it is easy to feel tired and depressed. Darkness tends to have a bad reputation and many of us are afraid of the dark or woeful at it’s arrival. However, as a yogi it is in the dark time when we most easily turn within. It is a time when we can rest and heal, it is a space where we can cultivate our dreams and it is the source of our deepest love and power.
In this dream-like class through story, gentle asana and meditation we will reconcile our relationship with the darkness and reap the rewards of slowing down, turning within and resting in our deep and peaceful hearts.
