Jess and Lissa’s Practice Group: The journey is your own but the adventure is shared.
When and Where: Wednesdays 7:30-8:15pm at Lakshmi Living Arts, PAUSED FOR WEEKS 9/9 & 9/16, check back for update on time etc.
Join us for a weekly practice where we will share, experience and discuss the practices we love and use to bring more present moment awareness into our daily lives and strengthen our connection with spirit. Practices help us come back to the calm place of deep knowing while experiencing the ebb and flow of our feelings, emotions, moods, habitual thinking and constant change of daily life that can leave us disoriented and confused about our place and direction in the world.
The greater our ability to be present, the more easefully we align with our true nature, and our true nature allows us to see the interconnectedness of all things. When we do not honor our own being we cannot honor others. Our view of the world determines how we treat it so lets make sure we agree with it, and to do this we need to be present in what we think, say and do.
We will be exploring mind and body practices each week. You will be invited to work with them on your own throughout the week and discover if and how it is useful for you. We will have time to share anything we’ve learned at the beginning of the next class. No hatha yoga experience is needed. This is about you – discovering ways to show up and care for yourself, challenging assumptions, and co-creating the life you dream of. We are here to help guide each other on that journey.
Please RSVP via email for planning and communication purposes. We will be in the pavilion or lawn depending on the practice. Contribution amount is determined by you.
This offering will happen outside at a minimum of 6’ distance, please feel free to also wear a mask. The building will be open for use of the restroom, please come prepared to be outside though – if weather looks challenging we will be in touch.
There will be mats available that will be cleaned after use though we encourage you to bring your own mat.
