Reiki I—October 13 noon-4 PM

In this  4-5 hour workshop, you learn about Reiki, are attuned to the Reiki I energy and practice Reiki handholds on each other. You will not learn the Reiki symbols, but will be connected to the Reiki energy in order to offer it to yourself, other people and animals. Reiki (ray-key) is an ancient energy method of deeply relaxing and restoring the body, mind and spirit to its natural state of wellbeing.

Scientific studies of energy, whether in the diagnostic form of EEGs and fMRIs or in modalities such as Reiki and acupuncture, are helping us to better understand how energy can help us to heal ourselves.

REIKI ATTUNEMENT

The ability to use Reiki for oneself and others is transferred by the Reiki Master/Teacher to the student in one of the three levels of Reiki Attunements during a workshop. Participants learn about Reiki and how to offer it to themselves and to others as a Reiki practitioner.

Level I Attunement is a four hour workshop where you learn to use the Reiki energy to help heal yourself and others, including pets and other animals. Fee is $130.

Level II Attunement is a five hour workshop where you learn the Reiki symbols and how to offer long distance healing. Fee is $225.

Level III Attunement is the Master/Teacher 1 & ½ day workshop where you learn how to teach and attune others to Reiki. Fee is $400.

Diane Hecht (www.dianehecht.com) is a Reiki Level III Master/Teacher of the original Usui Shiki Ryoho Traditional System of Natural Healing of Dr. Mikao Usui of Japan. She also holds a Karuna Reiki Master certification from William Lee Rand of the International Center for Reiki training. Diane has been offering and teaching Reiki for 21 years.
